Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Systems & Tooling Engineer (m/f/d) in Manching.
Your Responsibilities:
- Management and development of the software development platform in the avionics environment
- Automation of deployment with regard to configuration, packaging, and automated installation
- Set up and operation of own infrastructure to ensure independence and tool availability
- Design, set up, and maintain a central tool and license database
- Transparent management of software, costs, users, and contracts
- Technical analysis and management to resolve complex issues
- Derive sustainable process improvements
- Monitor and provide technical guidance in the development and maintenance of the tool landscape
- Monitor and optimize software design and requirements processes
- Implementation and optimization of a problem-reporting system for structured error analysis and service management
- Ensure continuous availability through proactive license management, monitoring, and cost control
- Support the integration of AI-powered engineering tools and software development processes
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Development or comparable
- Professional experience in automating infrastructure processes and in software packaging as wells as in the operation and configuration of development systems
- Knowledge in the Systems and Network Technology (Server Operations, License Server)
- Skills in managing the interfaces between IT, development, and external partners
- Very good user skills in MS-Office and good skills in SQL and Jira
- Fluent English skills spoken and written
- German skills are desirable
